It isn't just a demonstration plant. It's a full sized commercial kiln that will stay in place at the plant if successful with additional replicated modules being added on to increase capacity. Obviously the initial module with design engineering, commissioning and contingency will cost. Further capacity should be much cheaper to add.

I'm excited. 2 years before first salt. Of course we all want it quicker but it's new technology so it will take time. Looks like it could be 2027-28 before a full scale ramped up midstream operation is likely.
