Have never worked in the banking or financial sectors but knew of many who did. They had to account for every $ processed on their watch and were invariably chased down that proverbial dark blind alley by a horde of supervisors and over paid executives if there was an incorrect balance at the end of the day. Not the same for the higher echelons of the major banks and financial companies, $Bns blown from sh funds, and hardly any consequences except for more and higher remuneration and bonuses, of course.
