Got to subtract the value of the reserves produced to achieve that increase in cash, so MC should technically increase by less than the $7-8 million.
Then again, the increase in the oil price over the last month has dramatically increased the value of the inground reserve buy a significant amount, during which time the share price has fallen.
So yes, the EV has fallen due to the increase in cash, and the intrinsic value of the company oil assets ( ex production) has also increased significantly, while the EV has decreased.
Then there is the 2.6% fall in SOI so far as a result of the BB to take into consideration.
Perplexing, yet nothing new for BRK unfortunately.
