Some people here are getting way ahead of themselves. Hydraulic conductivity is certainly a factor in resource estimation (relating to permeability), but it's just one factor. Those assuming a doubling or quadrupling of resource size need to wait for the drilling results and the MRE update. It may well end up being the case, but these results don't indicate what some here are stating or inferring.

The improvement in hydraulic conductivity from 0.5m/d to 1m/d relates only to the black sand aquifer, underlying the main fractured halite aquifer. The black sand/clay aquifer is significantly lower productivity, with much lower transmissivity and hydraulic conductivity than the main aquifer.

The improvement in permeability means that the low-productivity black sand aquifer may now be more economical to recover, but in and of itself it has bugger all to do with substantially increasing resource size or recoverability.
