Its a terrible way to raise revenue and is as many say quite possibly counter productive. many people rely on the ability to drive to gain an income and do not have the measures to rely on public transport etc etc or as said are professional drivers or a licence is part requirement of the work they do. To justify the loss of someones income on a 4km hr indiscretion ? Loss of job and possible life setbacks may very well counter the productivity gained from the revinue stream.A lot harder to measure but i am sure it is there and as has been stated how many professional drivers are sitting one small indiscretion away from this? The police themselves would be under preasure here on this.Clogging up the courts on people defending the right to gain an income. The countries going mad with these silly things. You could quite possibly drive someones car be over the 4km limit run through a few cameras and bang your one of them all in a days drive .Hire cars is a good example of how easily it can be done as you have no idea on how accurate the speedo is.
