HNC/HAR is under restructuring from giant China MinMet (China Inc) injecting a billion bucks into it for controlling interest.

HNC/HAR has bits and pieces in Oz inc CMR JV, AII (76% owned) and KIS and probably couple of others

Seems logical to me that MinMet wont want fragments and that part of any restructuring MIGHT include consolidation of the bits.

HNC/HAR took over 76% of AII for 81c CASH partial takeover not so long ago

Since then residual shares have drifted down to almost one-tenth that level ...... yet nothing has changed with AII's own development path.

And since HNC/HAR have a CLEAN majority ownership of AII, seems LOGICAL to me that sooner or later it will end up the FLAGSHIP of Ozzie bits and then be itself assimilated into MinMet ... thats personal SPECULATION.

Of greater interest to me is the CMR JV , is CMR itself being under administration. It may be that if a global restructuring of HNC/HAR proceeds inc Oz assets, then AII iteslf MAY represents a backstop entry to CMR assets if it goes liquidation, if in fact HNC/HAR/MinMet decide to pre-emptively pull the plug. Check the CMR thread for the can of worms we are curently trying to untangle.

Either case, re-entry at 10% of takeover bid ORRR sniffing a possible defacto backdoor of CMR assets, that parcel looked bit too attractive to let go on "strategic" consideration basis.

Straight into the super fund for a passive hold.

Awerful market tho for resources micros under the radar and certainly not one for daytraders.
