The quote below from NSC presentation shows the growth in EV novated leases within a specialist novated leasing business. Looks astounding but of course it is showing growth of EV vehicles only.
"Since [the legislation] announcement MMS has seen increased enquiries and orders from customers for EVs. Novated leaseEV orders up 331% on prior corresponding period”.- McMillan Shakespeare Ltd, 1H FY23 results presentation"
Hopefully it is not too much at the expense of novated leases on fossil fuel driven vehicles but I suspect that it does erode by some extent.
