I was watching that Hijack series with Idris Elba last night and the conspiracist in me, made me actually question if all this was planned to bring us down! Is Andre involved with some entity that wants to scoop up AIS on the cheap?! Because every decision made to this point is not coming from an intelligent person, in a respectable position, getting paid millions to operate a company with tens of thousands of livelihoods at stake, both from employees, contractors and mum and dad investors. Every decision made to date is either pure stupidity and absolute corporate negligence which will eventually go to courts under a class action (if things do not start turning around and fast) OR it is deliberate and clever sabotage!
Buy a copper mine way overvalued at the market peak on the brink of a financial crisis, fail to hedge at the peak, lose focus of gold assets which are your natural hedge against worsening economic conditions, then continue focusing on Jaguar even though the writing has been on the wall and operating at a loss for a few quarters, then rush into an astronomical and extortionary debt situation at the last minute while having many months to prepare for it. At his positional level, you are paid to be proactive and not reactive and the complete opposite has played out!!!
Either management have absolutely lost the plot and are complete Id**ts or they are cleverly bringing this company down for an ulterior motive.
Another 15% down today! When will the bleeding stop?! Time to buy up Andre! Show some confidence and stop being a weak leader.
