don't know a thing about the acquisition company... but as a principle I would have preferred $30m in shares and $5m in cash rather than what they have done which is the opposite way around!

And how often do we see good family companies basically perform poorly when taken over by bigger corporates?.... lots, though Silk are not too big yet may help a little.
