Who makes synthetic graphite currently. Is it being made outside of China? (I don't think so and not to any large scale). So ontop of lacking esg credentials it comes from China which is another minus.
Will many (or any) western countries start producing large amounts of synthetic graphite to stop reliance on China or will they try to source natural graphite? If the former, it will likely be with renewable enegery which is also not cheap and ultimately also not great for the environment. (ie using electricity when there are less energy intensive options available).

A bottle neck is coming, hopefully we see some fireworks gl
