IMO the forest will be a considerable hurdle.
Some posters on here say it's not a problem for Gonneville because it's on farmland. But if you look at a satellite photo of Gonneville you can see that not even one tree has been cleared. The drill rigs worked around the trees instead of clearing any of them.
You have to get permits to clear tree on private land in that area. From my eye there's a hundred or more acres of tree that would have to be cleared from the farmland just to get started. That's just for access to the ore. You would have to clear hundreds more acres of tree to place the other mine infrastructure. And that's assuming you can even buy the extra land. Which I see CHN has recently issued more shares to do.
Not sure if there's some forced sale ability for CHN to get the private land they need. If not then I would be concerned about having a project completely dependent on the individual whims of the neighbouring landholders.
