As per the below extracts from Azimut exploration announcements , it can be seen that it took the better part of 5 months and consecutive drill results from Patriot for RIO to make its 50 / 50 moves on Azimut. A company it already had ventures with with respects to Gold.

Azimut is also in a 50 / 50 partnership with SOQUEM o a host of other properties of Azimut's including those Lithium bearing ones in proximity to Winsome's as well.

So then RIO seems to have struck FIRST in committing to this longer term amoount of C$115.7 million with Azimut over 5 YEARS compared to Albemarle's C$109 million for 4.9% initially over 9 months until a DFS is produced.

So obviously RIO has in many ways decided on what region and what deposit it wants to foucs on , and would be no doubt be watching with great anticipation as to what Albemarle's final moves will be.

The other things here is , is that compared to Albemarle's outlay and direct investment , RIO would have seemed to have gotten potentially far more in their 50% with Azimut than Albemarle with their less than 5%.

So in my view , this certainly prices Moblan out of contention based on these comparisons.

So it would have to be someone else other than RIO I would think at this stage.
