To kill a bit of time before the kahuna posts his update - they're normally a really good read - have a look at melrose resources – they’re and oil & gas E+P coy listed on the UK stock exchange ("wypanb" mentioned this co on the motley fool website - go to www.melroseplc.com). They were in a very similar position to us last year - on the verge of going from producing next to nothing, to 12k bopde by the start of 2004. In the 1st quarter 2003 they were as low as 50p and then just steadily rose to UK$2 by the 1st quarter 2004. From there, in their first year of producing they went from UK$2 to a high of UK$3.20.
I think that Hardman’s shareprice graph will look very similar in shape to melrose’s over the coming years. Very difficult to compare apples with apples for hardman versus melrose, but I think you get the drift (note, melrose is only involved in 3 countries by the look of it and no spectacular news during 2004).
Cheers,
Butcherano.
