I feel we are not asking the right questions. Perhaps if someone has a better understanding of the situation they can help clarify this. With the situation in Niger and the response from ECOWAS. Do you think that the military junta in Mali is here to stay? I feel they may get ousted rather sooner than later as the trend in the region is to support democratic elected governments which is not the case in Mali. If they get ousted any blocks they are placing in LLL may also be removed?
How would a change in government impact LLL? Do you think a new democratic government will be beneficial for LLL? One could only hope democracy and the rule of law are restored in the region as it is clear that the military junta can change any laws to suit their agenda.
