Thanks for your opinion, however there are several things you fail to mention.
Firstly BD are currently in a legal battle due to breach of copyright relating to some of their safety syringe products. I believe this is one of the reasons for their sell off of other products. This sell off gives them funding to pursue a replacement for their drug delivery devices IMO.

Additionally the Unilife products are shaping to be the most advanced safety syringes available on the market due to the design of retraction, size, variation of application, styles of syringes and packaging.
The design is sought after and revolutionary, hence the involvement with SA who have also assisted financially from very early days. IMO and by research SA are intending to use a variety of Unilife products for their vaccines, drugs etc, especially in a prefil capacity and have even been involved with packaging design.
Unilife products and design are IMO the best available in relation to safety. The safest technology available is now mandatory in many developed countries due to legislation. This will give Unilife products a decent market share IMO.

A take over is also a possibility once the company is in production. SA are clearly interested due to the clauses in contract and BD will be more than interested IMO. Your indication SA and BD already have an established footing also leaves me of the opinion that BD would love to acquire this technology and maintain a healthy relationship with SA. What would UNS/UNIS be worth to a company if they already had a partner waiting to use a large volume of its products.
