The sorry state of affairs for us is that we are now 560th largest stock, Capital wise, yet 48th as most shorted and sadly going from the 550th at one stage to 48th equates to the most shorted stock on the ASX, do the math and tell me otherwise.

With Shorts regularly 20% of the days total traded it becomes a sad fact, although still at 4% of total shares and why we are only 48th.

With 85M currently shorted I'm still trying to work out the strategy with a positive lens.

Are they buying the shares knowing these announcements are coming but can still whack the share price til then. When announcements come they can still control the price to which they then buy them back believing whatever they buy them back at they will make handsome rewards having sold most for higher prices over a wide span ( 69 cents - 27 cents). When you have deep pockets its obvious this can be done, clearly they are. I would love to buy more shares and take them on but why would I in a downward trend they are controlling. I have my full quota so am now on for the ride like most of us retailers. I can hop on or off anytime I wish, but at this stage have belief.

Every now and then they get a hit like with LTR when a takeover offer comes from nowhere and the price doubles overnight. That is rare so overall a very lucrative strategy.

On the negative side, do they just feel we won't come up with the deal to get it done? I don't know as I'm not a shorter, so does anyone have a good grasp out there of what the end game is for shorters, I clearly understand the current situation of play, that is obvious to all.
