For me the reason this announcement is so good is it again shows efficacy in actual infected patients with no apparent bad side effects. you mention "reece is already proven widely to be non toxic non inflammatory non hurtful" but it seems to me even after last few years of progress to date we had only demonstrated safety in Healthy patients in phase 1 trials. Burns was the first official trial that gave a hint of efficacy in actual human infections without bad side effects or adverse reactions. Hence why I was so frustrated when it went dark and all we were left with was phase 1 results. That is still huge progress to safely inject in humans but still unknown what results will be when bacteria is actually present in either sepsis or uti (internal infections). How will patient respond as bacteria is breaking down within bloodstream or bladder? Certainly seems to be looking better and better for external/ skin infections with new gel formulation.
This emergency access is proving to be a great real world test against some almost untreatable infections. Great work Rce
