Andrew Barr’s behaviors and motives look highly questionable, almost a legal minefield for quite a few people who could call him to account even under the Australian jurisprudential system.
Sofronoff’s defense could be that Barr would have interfered which it sounds like Barr wanted to do.
Andrew Barr and Shane Rattenbury have a significant case to answer.
Rattenbury has even failed to have any of the 18 cases reviewed, which is perilous, because of the gravity of the allegations against Drumgold in the report.
The ACT Bar Council have basically excluded Drumgold from practising.
It beggars the question of interference by Barr and Rattenbury. That is not prima facie allowed under Australian legal and Constitutional practises.
This is why ACT and NT should never have had self Government and they are further away from being States than ever.
When the Voice gets monumentally defeated, if it is still an Albo cost of living crisis in Australia, cutting back ACT and NT should be considered along with banning the Big 4 consultancies from Government contracts.

Starting to look like we can see where the interference came from here ... and a willing DPP on the end of the whip ... good political buddies all the way to the top dog ACT politician Gallagher.
Looks like this disgusting fraud on the Australian people doesn't get to end with the Sofranoff inquiry .. they want to muddy the waters there too.
