Well I'm 62 now and I'd like to think I haven't wasted one moment of my life.
The kids don't listen very much anymore except years down the track when for whatever reason they realise I was right. ( eg Watch your debt, interest rates can strike at you like a cobra).
I bought my home outright in an outer suburb, It wasn't much my but it was ours.
Not bragging but there were no holidays, expensive furniture, lattes or lavish restaurants.

I think outside the box and as such did not accumulate any super - I refuse to be told what to save and what and when to spend it on..
This has caused me a lot of financial grief and a few major windfalls far far outweighing super compound returns.

This type of thinking has lead me to amongst other things Meteoric

I heard yesterday that in the U.K many millions of trees were cut down to install wind turbines.
They have over 1 1 , 0 0 0 turbines and currently produce nearly 30% of UK's electricity
Dies, yes many many wind turbines. Don't worry many more trees were re-planted.

Yes I know I use a lot of philosophical quotes - but before Netflix, overseas holidays, there was something called talking and thinking.
