A gap works like this:
If the market closed today at 37 and opened tomorrow at 41 it is considered a 'gap'.
gap ups and gap downs most times eventually fall back to fill,
TA is only a history of events, history usually repeats but if FA is the cause of the gap up and stays good it may not fall back down.
