Regarding SMSF accounts. CommSec does not provide international market exposure for SMSFs only individual. I've opened a interactive brokers account under my SMSF to give me exposure to international markets, I'll do a transfer from Macquarie/commsec to interactive of my IHL shares and do the transfer when IHL changes. hope this helps but speak to your broker and they can advise.
