Yes it's a joke of course. It's the major shareholders who have been demanding a better deal as the deal would have been voted down in it's current form.
Blaming directors for shareholders (who are not on the board) unwillingness to sell for the lowball price is just a spiteful action of manipulators who have no interest in the company being successful.
Those same shareholders wont be supporting any action of course.
