@spinecho
The headline to the article is "The Best CRC Screening Test Is Still This One"
Which one do you you think the author is talking about? It's faecal!
Where does it say anything at all about population testing that is relevant to CRC blood tests?
Where does it say anything about "inexpensive". Even so the article doesn't even suggest anything to do with CRC blood testing.
The article is mostly about screening adults in age groups and the various bodies having differing opinions.
In fact the article goes on to say that
"A prominent BMJ guideline suggests that patients need not be screened until their estimated 15-year CRC risk is greater than 3% (which most people do not reach until their 60s) and then only need a single sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy."
FYI, BMJ is a global healthcare knowledge provider (70,000+ members)
"Less invasive fecal tests" is not less invasive CRC blood testing.
The summary of the article is as the last sentence suggests..............get tested!!!!!
And your mates on the forum give you thumbs up and great analysis. LOL.
