Attacking anonymous people is in bad taste but so is talk of "I have a gut feeling", "it will be below $1 next week" etc. If you read some of the recent posts there are some reasonably articulate arguments to support AWE being undervalued including:

    a) forward cashflow.
    b) existing production assets.
    c) development assets.
    d) replacement of reserves despite a couple of dusters.
    e) acquisitions with proven reserves to counter-balance exploration risk.
    f) good liquidity, albeit diminishing.
    g) transparency (cannot see any evidence in prior announcements of any shonky news or promises not kept)
    h) risk mitigation by recent farmouts.
    i) likelihood of a future increase in the price of oil which will improve the bottom line.

I struggle to see this as a total gloom and doom story. I sold one AWE holding at $1.68 with a lot of nervousness as that was cheap IMO. I was lucky to re-enter at $1.51. Nobody knows when AWE will take off again but it will turnaround even if existing assets create cash. It is being driven by poor sentiment and based on no news of substantial holders exiting there is faith in the company by intitutions that have a lot of skin in the game.

As for the doom a gloom merchants, how about backing up arguments of sub $1 with sensible comments about the assets, cashflow and risks at AWE rather than shooting off meaningless cliches that anyone with any intelligence at all will give no weight to at all.
