Any entity making an offer to buy, must surely know the true value of what they are trying to buy.

Otherwise they would not be any good at running a business. Their offer was laughed out the door.
So why did they try ??

As for me I do not have any idea how to arrive at a value.
I have come off the boil since the early days when I liked to run the figures through.
I mostly concentrate on the SP nowadays

I am only hypothesising some scenarios. What I think might be reasons for selling. Morgan gives strong valid reasons for not selling.
As do the knowledgable and educated posters here. Talking up the value and giving no indication even thinking of selling.
However Morgs & Co. certainly would have a figure that makes it worth while to pack and go.

If a decision to sell does come, it will be like a bolt from the blue....or it may never come.
