    If you wanted a voice so badly you'd do it off your own back...

    you have the NIAA and minister for aboriginal affairs with direct voices to govt and the PM.

    Choose your 30 delegates and have your 12 meeting a year, either get funding for these meeting from the govt, NIAA or the land council which is currently earning 50 mill a year interest from its 1 bill plus kitty.

    Surely a 10 mill budget covers airfares meeting staff and accommodation. You could meet in different locations and then pass your findings/advice onto relevant parties.

    Nobody is stopping this happening, if a voice is so important and you can't get it put in the constitution then sort it out between yourselves to make it happen....
