Rialto Energy Ltd announced on July 21 that it had completed the acquisition of 100% of CLNR Holdings Ltd, the holder of a 75% interest in C&L Natural Resources Ltd.
C&L Natural is the holder of an 85% participating interest in block CI-202 in Cote d'Ivoire.
The balance of 15% in block CI-202 is held by the Cote d' Ivoire State petroleum company, Societe Nationale d'Operations Petrolieres de la Cote d'Ivoire (Petroci).
The acquisition provides Rialto with an effective 63.75% working interest in block CI-202 which contains multiple pre-existing oil and gas discoveries.
Jeff Schrull and Glenn Whiddon have been appointed managing director and executive chairman respectively.
Former managing director Brett Woods has become technical and exploration director.
Simon Potter and Robert Hall have resigned from the board.
Mr Hall will remain Rialto's general manager.
