Does anyone know what sort of pesticide was used on the plantations during the locust plague earler this year?
Was it lipophilic?
Is there any chance for bioaccumulation of pesticide in the roots/heartwood and hence, oil?
This may make the oil unsuitable for human use.
I can't find any published data, as all oil supplies are currently from wild stock.
I'm hoping there might be a biochemist or food/safety expert on the forum somewhere.
