Street Talk understands talks were at $40 million. The deal size and pricing were yet to be set, but fundies were being sounded at $2.25 a share, which would be a nearly 12 per cent discount to the last traded price of $2.55.
Proceeds will be used to fund Fineos’ balance sheet to cash profitability expected second half next year.
The company’s long-time brokers, Macquarie Capital and MA Moelis, were leading the talks.
