As for the jittery market in general ,just remember Fortescue was rising strongly , while the market was collapsing in the GFC ,so this proves you can still make money in any market if you hold the right stock .

During the GFC FMG went from $12 down to around $2.
Even at it's low it was still a 5 billion dollar company though :)
