Perhaps you can throw these other possibilities into the mix ---that China is in control of the "game plan"...but need to add that "internally ", Australian Super with 30 % (?) is in charge of the purse strings and immediate control ....and perhaps further add , if you want to "engage "in extended conspiracy theories , the longer it takes Balama to resume and Vidalia ( Stage !) to be built and ramp up , the better it might work for the EV Giga Battery Car maker factories in negotiations with Syrah ??? Perhaps these Car Manufacturers see the US DOE doing the immediate haevy lifting with funds by way of Loans/ Grants ---so ubtil their Spherical Graphite needs become more urgent , they are prepared to play the "long game "with these Offtake Agreements !

Just perfect for the "shorters"...whose rationale is , that there is still no immedaite threat ( short of an outright low ball takeover bid ) , that causes the price to revert to moving upwards , paricualrly in this market where earnings are being so actively sought !
