RNU will not pay royalties.
It pays a 'nominal' licence fee to the industry experts, ANZAPLAN. And because it was developed together under their guidance and suggestions, hence why it is 'nominal'.
On the other hand, our western friends do have to pay a royalty fee to the inventor on an out-of-date process that no body wants. Because if it was any good, many other graphite wannabes would be lining up to adopt their tech. Instead they are turning to the likes of ANZAPLAN who have the high-tech facilities and the know-how to advance flow sheets and processes forward.
Not many would be aware that the western patent was first rejected by IPAustralia for not being novel or inventive enough. But then somehow mysteriously was accepted 6 months later after an appeal?
However, unlike a black box, ANZAPLAN is for everyone not just a few. They are an institution when it comes to purification of mining materials. For decades they have been the go to people. It's all about 'Bankable Offtakes' and their greater needs, so why would you use something that is under performing when you can have the best.
Offtakes seem imminent for a true kangaroo!
