Good grief, look at what AGY discussions have devolved into. I used to see analysis and worthwhile discussion, now it's absolutely nonsense like erroneous accusations of users only having turned up recently, or even garbage like insane accusations of someone not having taken a flight they said they were on because someone was petty enough to look up flight schedules and interpreted it strangely... and then when Dutch actually deigned to show his records, the accuser doubled down on the nonsense, haha! I could go on and on... this really is the proverbial dumpster fire at the global $#!tshow.

Everyone is losing their minds in panic as the share price plummets. JZ is no doubt getting a pile of freaked out emails, he usually responds quickly but hasn't responded to my last one for some time now (not that mine was freaked out). I suppose it's only fair and appropriate that he gets inundated with freaked and angry shareholders after his broken promises and terrible job or PR. Delays are tolerable and expected in this sort of game, but it's a big mistake to promise something is "imminent" for so long that you have to switch to radio silence and can't say something is imminent when it actually is because you've conditioned the market to assume "imminent" likely means "probably not for another two years at least" and will panic them so terribly that they'll start believing long term members only recently showed up or even doubting that someone might have taken an international flight (my own last international flight was late last week, feel free to doubt me 'cause unlike Dutch I'm definitely not going to show evidence on Hot Copper!)

Don't anyone tell me you had bacon and eggs for breakfast this morning or I'll accuse you of actually having had generic brand baked beans with cheap white bread and no butter.

I've given up on suggesting we don't feed the trolls, it's futile, they've won, we just have to live with it and pretend they're on ignore but respond to them anyway, or alternatively, call anyone who isn't an unconditional permabull a troll, actually ban them, gloat about how nice it is without all the trolls, then complain about it being quiet, then over the next few weeks act confused and freaked out about the price action, which doesn't match the three unconditional permabull's predictions who put up the only posts you can still see.

I actually was planning to put something relevant to AGY in this post, but completely honestly it feels out of place at this point.

Ah, what the heck, old habits die hard, a few on topic words can't hurt too much. Value and price are related but not the same thing. The value is much the same now as it was at 80c earlier this year, the price is a fraction of what it was. The perceived value is lower because many thought we'd get the permit early this year (we'll get it anyway and didn't need it early anyway so this doesn't change the actual value), the spot price of lithium is down (this fluctuates anyway and those fluctuations don't change the value of AGY, just the perceived/estimated value at snapshots in time), we didn't get an offtake deal as was promised/implied we would early this year (it's not like we were going to sign a deal which was going to force Tesla to buy all our product at the peak spot price, and it's not like we were ever going to have trouble selling our product and it's not like we're going to be forever forced to sell at the low spot price where it currently is) and we didn't get to steady state by mid year as we were lead to expect (delays are painful and misleading guidance is shameful, but if we were going to be worth a lot three months ago, it's not hideous if that's where we're going to be in about three months from now, it's just a six month delay which doesn't wipe off most of the value).

Well, you're literally all on ignore so I can't see any posts now, I'm off to Zurich on my private jet which I bought with the fifty million dollars I made by selling all my AGY shares at 80c after buying them for 3c. I'll be back to post some random lines on a chart later to explain why AGY will be going up and I'll type a pile of acronyms like LMFAO to mock anyone who is at all bearish about things, and also say tick tock and make some batman references. Also, traders all lose money so anyone who ever sells a single AGY share is a fool to be ridiculed and ostracised.

Jokes aside (not that I've made any today), this actually is a good example of buy in gloom sell in boom. When no one believes a shareholder took an international flight or that a balanced poster who isn't an unconditional permabull could possibly have been around for more than three minutes and seventeen seconds, you know you're close to peak gloom.
