why dont you promise to rack up debt to the tune of 50% GDP, giving you another 500billion to "move australia forward".

your voters with their preferences, seemingly the majority of australians, aren't interested in debt as an election issue, or maybe don't understand it, they certainly dont have an issue with it.

You'd probably get away with it?
