I've never seen a stock sell off because of it not making the index, one because it's not actually a big event and two, institutional investors 100% know whether or not it will be included (as they'd have the exact calcs to determine whether it fits the criteria). Probs not something to be nervous about, the recent selling has been across the board and is the product of the bad market we are currently in
