I've always been a fan of the 9/13 ema's as to where the SP might be heading.
As posted previously both the 9/13 ema's have been in freefall since the end of July, with the SP trading well below both indicators.
Looking at the daily chart below, a definite change in direction (16th August.) with validation on the 17th.
Confirmation is very close.
