Stewart, Maybe! But remember PH raised $30m at VLA just 3 weeks before selling to Merck for $500m. He was already in negotiations but raised capital when it was offered. Then signed deal 3 weeks later. Moral of the story NEVER RUN OUT OF CASH.
A mate of mine was listing his company on Black Tuesday 1987. The broker pulled the plug that morning. He could tell you all about the pain caused by running out of cash.
