There might be a small window of buying opportunities as I am sitting at home watching fires in the Northwest Territories. They are evacuating the town of Yellowknife right now.

Its crazy vision with snow falling and forest fires. On the positive side, the fires have not grown since yesterday and rain was due as well as snow. Plus the fires are doing a great job of clearing the undergrowth. Great areas of land has been cleared and now appear almost perfect for drilling pads.

I'm not too concerned. I imagine that with the constant snowfall, the fires can surely not last for as long as they did in Quebec.

And I am making a ton of profit off the greenhouse effect that causes this kind of unusual weather in unexpected areas.

It is about 9:30pm in Yellowknife and the residents are awaiting the latest fire and weather forecasts apparently. We should know more by Aussie evening news. Hopefully this will be over before we know it.
