Mate when the chip is successful, market will price the shares closer to the sale price of the company. Meaning - if company is going to sell for say 825 mil AUD, then shares will be quoting roughly 50c as there are about 1.65 billion shares. You can sell in the market and make good. Mind you that 50c could go much higher as the market exuberance or lower as its despair. It will be upto you to sell and get out at any point. If you are the type that don't want to decide, let the trusted board do it for you, then they will offer the price for you shares that is appropriate to the company sale price and take it from you. In order to agree on the sale price of the company itself, it has to be passed by board which in turn to be supported by majority holders.
You can already see the market is correcting to reflect the potential company sale price if the product is successful. This will go on till the drama ends.
