Hey gang.
Firstly, I want to start by saying I'm no one, I barely post here, I probably have less money invested then most, but also a significant amount for just a dude doing dude things.
Im not a significant investor, I don't pretend to understand market dynamics or think that because the chart shows three trees and a moose it's time to sell. However, what I do know is that it's evident a lot of people are filled to the absolute brim with rage right now about this stock. And I'd like to point out a few things.
to the folks who have clearly invested money they couldn't afford to loose, you've failed yourself and that's gotta hurt. I get it too, my average is 98c after buying more at 40c, but there isn't a single dollar in my portfolio that I need to continue living my life and paying my mortgage.
to the folks who are talking pleasure in winding up and stomping on people who have made a mistake or have had bad luck, I genuinely hope whatever sadness is in your heart comes good one day.
to the folks who are needlessly positive and upramping what is clearly a dog stock right now, stop it. Be sympathetic, be positive but don't treat people who are bitter about loosing heaps of money as the enemy, they're really not.
now, it wouldn't be a HC post without actual tangible stock talk, so here goes. For what it's worth, CXO by all metrics I can see currently, is valued appropriately. Why? Because most if not all of the value of CXO is tied up on forward looking statements. I'm bullish still, I agree with the crowds speaking of other mines coming online, fixing the water issues, getting the fines sorted and eventually having a downstream operation. I hear you on the drilling and potential other assets like gold and more. But right now, given what we're pulling out of the ground has a depreciating value and theirs not currently much of it, you can understand why we've been absolutely slaughtered.
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. I can't legally give financial advice, but due to my profession I can give behavioral advice. If you're loosing money you can't afford to loose, don't do that. If you're being an asshole, don't do that. And if you're bullish still but really upset, then uninstall your portfolio app for a while and log of HC.
