that wording is a for what's called "dual initiated trading halt"...

A dual-initiated trading halt occurs when the company and the ASX both agree that a trading halt is necessary.

So 4DS goes to ASX, says we've got some pretty big results to announce soon - we're not ready to release them but to avoid speculation on the SP and to protect against accidental release, we want to go into TH while we finalise the analysis... It's not the usual circumstances for a TH (like results, merger, cap raise etc) so ASX reviews the request and then says righto, please request the TH and we will grant it.

Were 4DS forced into a TH? No.
Did 4DS initiate it, yes.
Were there instructions from ASX, yes.
