With the recently announced DoD funding and purchase of land, we should slowly start seeing an uptick regarding news relating to this. I thought it would be good to have them collected under a new thread.
To kick things off, I've come by some useful information:
- Land purchase was <$500k - Expected cost for facility: $207m
This latter number would mean we have a ~20% buffer in our DoD 'allowance', likely no extra cost for us despite recent inflation.
Also, we have been approved for tax incentives, including tax on our future facility. For example, the value of our property has been fixed at $30m (instead of ~$300m), meaning tax on property will be $360,000/y rather than 10x that. More to come..
