I know that this is a totally different company to what was once QGC, but CTP has some important similarities to it.
The most important similarity is that CTP has significant assets in the acreage it holds under permit.
Also there is also another fortunate parallel, and that is the possibility of CTP developing a new industry here in Australia. That being the mining and sale of the rare gasses, hydrogen and helium, in vast saleable quantities.
These opportunities are so akin to those which were presented to QGC twenty five years ago, except for two very important items, Messrs Bryan and Cottee.
These two men knew what great assets they possessed; they had a vision for the future of the CSG industry, and had faith in their team, whom they believed they could manage into a successful production outfit. Which they did.
Importantly, both men believed in their strengths, and in their individual roles they set new benchmarks at every turn.
Unfortunately, CTP’s “leaders” do not seem to have the vision, drive or natural rat cunning necessary to turn a penny dreadful into a national treasure with international investment appeal.
There is a high probability we will miss out on our 'QGC moment' unless we get our act together as a visionary Company.
I too am beginning to think we need a revamp of our so called "leaders".
