wogboy, delays are inevitable in land/property sales, they happen all the time, i'll bet plenty of people on this forum have had delays in buying/selling houses (you may have even). Now come to a deal worth $70+ million, everything has to be spot on as this ain't just small change. The buyer agreeing to pay $10 mill in a weeks time for a deposit on the land speaks volume that this is a done deal
