@fooca
So let me get this straight and correct me if I’m wrong.
1. Seydou Samega is no longer Firefinch Limited Country Manager in Mali?
2. This hasn’t been announced by the current board yet?
3. We don’t know the date of his departure but assume it to be March 2023 by his LinkedIn profile?
4. The current board only announced to the market the letter from the Mali government after social media posts?
5. The board has appointed one of the best and most expensive legal firms in the world to negotiate in good faith on behalf of Firefinch Limited who have no liabilities regarding the Morilla mine according to this very same board.
This raises yet again the serious issues of corporate governance by the actions of this board.
I’m sure everyone can remember the glowing Corporate Governance documents released by this board only weeks ago.
Let’s look at the current boards performance just in relation to this issue.
1. Failed to lodge Half Yearly report by the due date.
2. Failed to lodge the Annual Report by the due date.
3. Failed to call for Director nominations prior to the AGM meeting.
4. Failed to disclose the letter from the Mali government until exposed on social media.
5. Failed to disclose equipment issues and ECOWAS sanction issues until months after the event.
6. Directors selling large amounts of shares six weeks before the trading halt and subsequent suspension which has lasted 14 months and counting.
BTW these are the “self proclaimed”
1. ASX professional directors ???
2. Corporate governance experts and masters of the Universe when it comes to the financial, sharemarket and business universe ???
3. Section 249d experts ??? LoL.
I strongly suggest that shareholders contact the ASX and ASIC with their concerns as the board does not seem to want to respond to enquires of this serious breach of ASX and ASIC rules and regulations or even the companies own Constitution and Governance statements.
@fooca
Can you please remind me again of how much Shareholder Capital has been lost over the current boards time running this company as I’ve lost track of the amount.
I wonder what hourly rate we shareholders are paying for a partner in a law firm that makes 2 billion POUNDS a year. Genius’s.
As an aside
@fooca have any of the 4 current directors ever been to Mali and Morilla ???
Asking for a friend.
