Foibles,
technical analysis (TA), which is what you see in the pretty pictures above, is a chart of past share past price action over various time periods. "Charts" (ie TA) visually display past behavior as a way of predicting "likely" future behavior. A bit like God, some have total faith, others have none, and everything in between!
All I can say is like anything we predict about the future, the economy, the environment, our next bonus, our happy ever after marriage....there are no guarantees!
