Well if we're looking for positives, OPT just announced an $80m raise at a huge discount to continue funding the clinical trials for their wet AMD injection.
Gives you an idea as to just how much money is needed for these things, and why it is so important that Nova Eye Medical takes its time seeking a partnership on favourable terms to fund our AMD laser rather than going to the market and significantly diluting investors. I'm betting that the partnership, if it is ever announced, will be absolutely enormous compared to our current market cap, therefore providing a nice catalyst for a rerate. Definitely makes me glad as well knowing that in addition to our AMD treatment, we have an existing and growing revenue generating product to keep the market happy during the inevitable delays and hurdles associated with the clinical trial process for 2RT.
