a 5mil chunk of shorts closed their positions last Friday. I imagine they hit their target price and can’t see the SP dropping any further. Could be a sign of the bottom being in, keep an eye on whether more shorts close their positions over the coming days as they look to close out more positions without causing a sharp upward SP movement (so as to not have to pay more).
Any positive announcement would ignite the buying action, but we all already know that.. cmon JZ!
