I can think of multiple reasons. Perhaps he has made plenty from his brother’s project and has decided to take a break.
Given the sector wide problems his exit now doesn’t shout out confidence in the MacKay project moving forward quickly or easily. Savich was the original driving force behind AMN’s potash dream.
