There will be some exploration related reasoning for them but also a certain amount of serendipity with partial surrender(?) of some tenements.

From the 2021 Newgen conference came a fairly detail version of the methodology used to target Winu.
The lack of regional success since brings on the serendipity word again. Necessary for exploration much of the time....

It is a lifestyle company in terms of folks doing what they would do if they worked for BHP/Rio etc and taking a risk against the rather terrifying odds of finding a decent mineral deposit with budgets that are small change to the big guys.
Calibre and Minyari found in the lifetime of the company. Perhaps more but need $s to prove up Geo1 and other hints around Minyari.
Calibre a greenfield discovery.
Minyari brownfields.
Geo1 greenfield.

During the week I attended an AMEC session where the MD of a purportedly lifestyle company gave a presentation. I lost a fair bit on their Mexican iteration and have just watched as the SP has done a 100 bagger since I got out of AZS.

Yes it is easy to bag management and in some cases it may be justified. RM and others at AZY are IMO real explorationists doing it tough and getting paid for it. Will they emulate AZS or some of the other companies that have succeeded (DEG/CHN/WA1 in recent times)?

Hopefully the Tetris or other EIS drilling and regular exploration can do the 'trick'.

I did wonder why the 3 holes are away from the main anomaly. Perhaps a nod to the way Havieron was finally "discovered" and the wide spread breccias that have expanded the mineralised footprint since the initial holes.



I plead guilty to having lived an exploration lifestyle in my career. Get paid to go to places few ever see with free air travel. Enjoyed most of it and still do from an armchair these days.
